Ceilidh For Katie
Since it was established, every penny of the Katie Wilkinson Research Scholarship funds has been raised or donated by people close to Katie, or touched by her story. Liz and Allan Wilkinson, Katie's parents, work throughout the year to both generate funding for UEA students, and support a variety of other complementary charities.
Ceilidh For Katie
You simply haven't lived until you have Ceilidh-ed, we still can't get enough of the Wilkinson's Yorkshire take on this traditional dance.
Plus, the pie and mushy peas are worth crossing the country for.
The Ceilidh is held in November every year, and is a real feel good fundraiser. It is so lovely to get so many of fun loving people together under one roof.
The 2018 Ceilidh was the last one to be held in the old Village Hall. It was very successful and raised over£1500 for the Charity. A new Hall is currently being built and scheduled to be opened in April 2019. Date of this year's Ceilidh to be confirmed.
