Fundraising For Katie's Scholarship
Every penny required to fund the Katie Wilkinson Research Scholarship is either fundraised by Katie's parents Liz and Allan Wilkinson or donated by people who knew and loved Katie, or have been touched by her story.
Liz and Allan work throughout the year to generate funding both for UEA students, and other charities that are close to their hearts, such as Cancer Research and Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Quiz For Katie
Every March Katie's friends and family get together to have a good time and find out who is the smartest of them all! Money raised goes 100% towards the Katie Wilkinson Research Scholarship.
A big thank you to everyone who participates in the quiz, the funds raised go to great causes.

Ceilidh for Katie
Liz and Allan organised a fabulous Ceilidh every November for around 15 years!! It was a real feel good fundraiser and lovely to get so many of friends of Katie's together under one roof.
Sadly the Ceilidh is no longer an annual event - the pie and mushy peas are worth crossing the country for alone - but never say never. One day the Ceilidh may be back!

Headingley Hero 2013
Since Katie became ill, we have received an incredible amount of support from Leeds Rhinos, and the Rugby community.
Rugby was such a passion of Katie's, that we are delighted to have raised £1,000 for the Leeds Rugby Foundation. As a result Katie has become a Headingley Hero. Wow! Katie would have loved this.

Charity Fun Runs
Many of Katie's friends and family have taken part in charity runs, including "Race for Life" since 2006. In excess of £5000 has been raised for "Cancer Research UK" and Katie's Research Scholarship.
